For the second time catch the coolest "kids’ countdown" at 9:30 p.m. There will be a special show and a few surprises to give the kids that special feeling of 2014 approaching.

KATY - The Katy Perry Show - starring Nikki Monroe who replicates the songs and fun spirit of the 2011 New Zealand concerts for all those fans that couldn’t be there, and for those who can’t get enough of all things Katy. The look, the colourful wigs, the custom made costumes, the ‘clouds and candyfloss’ stage set, the amazing dancers, the musicians, the DJ and the songs performed to perfection is what makes this concert as close to the real thing as you’re going to get. Nikki Monroe is a seasoned entertainer, who like Katy is 26 years of age. She sings in top New Zealand band The Monroes (also performing in Palmerston North this New Year) and performs over 150 shows a year, throughout New Zealand.

The Monroes - They play the songs people want to dance to and they rule the stage like rock stars. Featuring stunning female lead vocalist Nikki Monroe and musicians who between them have performed over 7000 shows throughout the world, The Monroes are the perfect live band to rock Palmerston North's New Year celebrations.

Truly Made - are a funk.soul.reggae band - they've created a solid catalogue of tunes and working toward their first studio recording.

At times, their sound is reminiscent of early ska bands such as Madness and Bad Manners but they maintain a distinct and progressive funk/soul/reggae sound that takes listeners on a musical journey that is definitely Truly Made but also reflects some classic funk, soul and reggae artists.
Enjoy the sound... like them on your social networks... join the journey.

Captain Festus McBoyle - New Zealand’s ultimate rotten pirate entertainer, Captain Festus Mcboyle, and his troublesome crew member, Sir William Crust, are masters of music and mischief! The scurvy pair are semi-vaudivile musical comedy at its best, providing entertainment for the whole family in all ports across the nation.

Captain Festus says, "We're more fun than a squirrel up ya jumper!" Finalist for the 'What Now Children's Music Video of the Year', 2012.

Finalist for the 'Recorded Music NZ Best Children's Music Album (Tui Award)', 2013 with the debut album, A Pirates Life.
